MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

IF YOU LOVE HERITAGE YAK, THERE’S A MEMBERSHIP OPTION FOR YOU!

Active Membership

1 Year Membership.  $75 Annual Dues

Designed for people active in yak ranching and own at least one yak, or intend to. It is not necessary to have Heritage Yak to become a member. If you dont own yak, see our Allied Industry Memberships below. Active members will receive: the Yak Tracks e-newsletter, annual Membership Directory, full access to the members’ section of the web site which hosts a growing variety of yak health, testing, and business resources, as well as discounts on WHYC products and services. This also allows you to apply for registration of your yak as a Heritage Yak, and to get a free listings on the website.

Allied Membership

1 Year Membership.  $150 Annual Dues

Open to people who are not raising yak, but are involved in the yak industry. This membership includes: a subscription to the quarterly Yak Tracks e-magazine, annual Membership Directory, full access to the members’ section of the Web site which hosts a wide-variety of yak business resources, access to all WHYC advertising and promotional products, and invitations to our conferences and functions. This also allows you to attend WHYC trade shows and auctions as a displaying producer, and to apply for a WHYC badge for your fiber, meat and dairy products to indicate they are Heritage-made to increase their value.

1 Year Membership.  $65 Annual Dues
